Self-discovery, not diagnosis
Personality results are for education, entertainment, and self-reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal, employment, or other professional advice. Do not use a result as the sole basis for an important decision about yourself or someone else.
Responsible use
You may use the site for personal, lawful purposes. Do not disrupt the service, probe it for unauthorized access, automate abusive traffic, copy or resell substantial parts of the product, impersonate another person, or use personality results to harass or discriminate against anyone.
Our content
16Traits and its original questions, writing, graphics, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the site and to share the result cards the product makes available for that purpose.
Availability and third-party services
The service may change, experience downtime, or discontinue a feature. Optional analytics relies on a third-party provider with its own terms and policies. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
No warranties; limited liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so these limits apply only where lawful.
